so, last night the wife and i got the strange craving for old school Pizza Hut style pan pizza.. - there's one not too far from our new apartment so i decided to try my hand at online ordering, started up an account on their site, placed my order, and got ready to take a tasty trip through time.. - moments later my phone rang and a Pizza Hut worker said, "is this Brian? sorry, but we're out of pan dough and breadsticks" which was my entire order so i said just cancelled it and hung up defeated..

That was a lot of nostalgic food talks then, gotta admit there were lots of good foods back in the days.

Alpine white? Never saw that one, probably because my mom was obsessed with Zero. I still get it from time to time but white chocolate only works in small doses as far as I am concerned. Man...what a cheesy commercial!

Hardee's rocks, I say up yours to Carl's Jr. their food is vomit inducing. I remember eating at the hardess in McAlester before it became a Burger King (bleh). I also remember that when I lived in Marion, AR with my brother that we would actually go in to the Hardees there and get a Frisco sandwich every Saturday before starting out activities and I always looked forward to it. I wish a REAL Hardees would open up here in Oklahoma, I would go there.

Pizza hut is vomit inducing? Really? I don't feel that way at all. In fact, I eat at a Pizza Hut here near my office almost every week, I am going there tomorrow in fact. Perhaps you just had a bad store? I do agree though that a vast majority of the market for pizza parlors is dwindling. After all..why sit down and eat when you can take it home an eat? Of course, it doesn't help that half of America thinks that they are going to die if they eat certain foods. Perhaps the dying chains would come back if people stopped freaking about food. Yes...it will be high in fat but we knew that back in the 90's and that didn't stop us...did it?

Hmm...never had the joy of eating a Chicken Little at KFC but I am sure they would have been tasty. I love the Quasi-50's and Quasi-80's commercial mashup...genius.

Yeah DJ, I think I'd be permanently scarred if I'd had a Pizza Hut experience like that too.

As for puking in public places, one time when I was little, I went with my dad to the gas station, got sick and barfed all over the floor. I remember feeling really guilty and upset over it too.

Nah man, you don't have to send me some biscuits. XD Thanks for the offer though.

DC, those sound like fun. BK was sort of rare around here back then though, so I never even went to one until sometime in the late 90s or something. Their burgers aren't bad. Too much mayo though. And I always forget to tell them to leave it off.

Oh, I meant to mention I was checking out your other wishlists and the Delorean is totally on the top of mine. I can't believe you actually got to see one all tricked out like that. God, I would kill for one of those!
